BUEN0S DiAS freako ricOs! L0L. so last nite me maya & jalisa went to a forum on black women & their skin color. to a lot of people the topic might seem boring but for me, someone who either says im darker than what i am or tries to tan to get darker, the topic was something i was interested in. everyone always talks about how darker women have it worse because they get teased or because all the good men tend to like lighter skinned women. yes, darker women do get teased but so do light skinned! being called yellow & saying you look "white" doesn`t make any black women feel good. (unless their one of the weird ones who believe white is right). but yea anywho, ummmmm. lost my train of thought for a second lol. but if any man is not attracted to you because your skin color then i feel like he shouldn't be a person you want in your life anyways! so yea. the forum leader basically opened my eyes. and now idgaf. i was born the way i am and ima learn to love my "yellow" skin. but then she went on! not only should we love ourselves but also ALL the other black women! and she gave us a task, to tell one woman a day that we think they're beautiful. so as i left i was in a good ass mood because being happy & loving each other is so much easier & more positive than the normal female bashing that is way too common in black america.
so yeaaaa, after that i went to my school's basketball game. then i went to sleep & when i woke up i checked my facebook & myspace. same thing i do everyday! lol. but anywho so i have friend requests on myspace. & one is from "FAKE B" & the message attached said this applies to you. so duh i went to the page. & its another one of those fake ones. i don`t think it would have bothered me as much if i wouldn't have jus left the forum on black women but it did. its like wtfffff! the relationships that black women have with each other are never gonna change because most people are too ignorant to realize the problem & things they can do to fix it. & other people who have such pathetic lives that makin fake pages seems better than actually doing somethin worthwhile with their time. AND in no way am i saying that im perfect or don`t ever do ignorant things but i recognize my mistakes & im tryin to fix em. sooooo, lets jus all love one another! bake cupcakes & eat ice cream! yeeeeeee!
